The Jesus Christ Lizard Also known as a Basilisk Have been known to run on water! thy have pads kinda like geckos that help them run on water. they run on water to protect themselves from predators and catch prey. they can run on water for up to 20 miles!! the basilisk is native to central and south America but have become invasive in florida!
